What started as years of modifying, innovating, and perfecting our own GBBRs evolved into a small service for friends and fellow players at our local Airsoft field. Over the course of a decade—through a journey of trial, success, and advancing technology—we’ve grown into something much bigger.

Nicholas Skamballis ( Skambo) – Director, Ex Royal Marine Commando and Hideous Airsoft Nerd

Hello, I’m Skambo, Co-Director of Axios Customs UK.

My journey outside of Airsoft includes serving as a Royal Marines Commando and a Firearms-Trained Officer in local Law Enforcement. While those roles shaped my discipline and precision, my true passion lies in Airsoft, where I’ve been an active player since 2008.

I’m driven by the pursuit of peak performance in replicas, dedicating countless hours to perfecting reliable combinations that push GBB systems to their limits.

My expertise centers around the TM MWS platform, but I’m equally proficient with GHK, VFC, and WA-based systems.

Leveraging my firearms background, I aim to deliver true-to-life, clone-correct counterparts, bespoke high-performance builds, and fully custom designs crafted to your preferences.

Hello, I’m Spartan, Co-Director of Axios Customs UK alongside Skambo.

My professional background spans mechanical engineering and IT infrastructure. I began my career working with engineering and CAD/CAM systems before transitioning into IT infrastructure, where I’ve honed my expertise in building efficient systems.

I’ve been immersed in Airsoft since the age of 11, gaining over two decades of experience in the sport. During this time, I’ve witnessed its evolution—from spring-powered replicas to the first AEGs and the revolutionary introduction of GBBRs from innovators like Tokyo Marui, Tanio Koba, and Western Arms.

My approach to Airsoft has always been deeply influenced by my passion for military history and films, shaping my playstyle, equipment, and replicas. With a foundation in mechanical engineering and a history of building race cars in my early 20s, I’ve cultivated a strong drive to understand and enhance mechanical systems. This passion naturally extended to Airsoft, where I’ve spent over 15 years perfecting replicas on a variety of platforms, including some of the most complex and unique models.

At Axios Customs, my mission is to design and build the most efficient and realistic replicas possible while maintaining optimal playability. Together with Skambo, I’m proud to deliver innovative, high-performance builds that inspire passion and elevate the Airsoft experience for every player.
